Siobhan Keating is the founder and lead designer of SK Gardens.

After an early career in public service in New Zealand, she retrained in garden design, completing a diploma at the Yorkshire School of Garden Design in North Yorkshire, England. There, she studied under Alistair Baldwin and Liz Rawlinson and gained hands-on experience working as a gardener at Swinton Estate and Raby Castle.

Following her studies, Siobhan worked as a landscape designer for Rosebank Landscaping in London, designing gardens for private homes and developing a practical, people-led approach to outdoor spaces.

The SK Gardens Approach

Her work is shaped by a belief that gardens are first and foremost for people, places to slow down, connect, and observe the changing seasons. Siobhan designs gardens that feel welcoming and grounded, creating beautiful, functional spaces where memories are made and homes feel anchored.

SK Gardens is based in Hamilton (Kirikiriroa), working across New Zealand and beyond.
