Waikato home & garden show 2026
A garden for the future
Created in collaboration with Groundcover Landscaping for the 2026 Waikato Home & Garden Show, this modest garden was designed with longevity in mind.
A considered palette of natural materials, including weathering steel, clay brick and gravel, sits alongside soft, naturalistic planting in shades of green, white and purple, with an ever so slight pop of orange. An evergreen framework provides structure throughout the seasons, while layers of flowering plants bring movement, texture and seasonal interest.
At its heart, the garden was designed to feel welcoming and lived in. A place to gather, entertain and enjoy the outdoors. Materials were chosen to weather beautifully, and planting to mature gracefully, creating a garden that will continue to evolve and become more inviting with time.
